Scammed
On august 5th I ordered Shakeology from a website shakeologyusa.com, using PAYPAL. PayPal paid the money to someone named Chinh Nguyen, email NorineSouthern56@***.com.
I thought maybe this was a distributor , but no, it was a thief who took my $92.00 . When I filed a complaint with PayPal they rejected it as legitimate.
Shakeology should provide a refund, but many of us were scammed and they do not seem to take responsibility for this.

Disappointed
Don't think you will get a full refund if you happened to not like their product. This product taste awful, returned it, I had to pay shipping, they kept $40 + 10 to ship back. Not pleased with their policies, which I knew about the shipping but unaware of keeping a portion of product cost!

Same scam artist! Ordered July 13, 2019. $91.00
I ran into this same thing - the Seller's name: Chinh Nguyen, NorineSouther56@***.com. The 3 bags of Shakeology ($363) were never delivered.
Super shady and she hasn't tried to fix the problem. (Transaction ID: 4819****PG982100T)
You can get your money back, read through these comments and be persistent. Good luck!
Paypal just issued (processing) me a refund as well. $90.99.
Got proof from UPS that it wasnt delivered to my address (most important).
Was in touch with paypal and denied 4 times. (case was re-opened each time) was able to get refund processed through chat agent at 10:30pm EST.
I got my money ($182) refunded from PayPal today but you’ve got to be persistent. Get delivery confirmation from UPS with the tracking number the scammers gave PayPal when PayPal investigated your case.
My tracking number was shipped from a hair care company in California and delivered to a woman in my town. Call PayPal DURING THE WEEK BETWEEN 9-5 (this is critical) and email them the information from UPS while you’re on the phone with them. You may have to do this several times. My number was four.
If you call PayPal on a weekend you will get someone outside the US and they are just reading from a script and clearly can’t do anything.
My case was denied three times after I provided the info from UPS until I called on a Tuesday at 11 am and talked to an American who reversed the charges immediately right on the phone. Keep fighting the good fight and you’ll get your money back!
Thanks for your help and comments. I wouldnt have gone after it this hard unless I knew I had hope and chance to get the money back. :)
I am having the Same Problem. I went through Paypal and purchased Shakelogy.
Paypal denied the claim and has just reopened. This Chinh Nguyen ~ MildaStarling26@***.com was the Seller.
$181.00 out the window. And she provided a tracking # that came from A Target Store and when to another Address in my Area..
same thing happened to me. Pay pal denied my claim for the same reason everyone else got denied.
can't there be some sort of class action law suit against Pay Pal for this? Its very frustrating
I have been fighting them for two days with no results. Now I'm in it for the long haul!!
You have to call or chat directly with PayPal during their office hours or you are pushed to overseas customer service that use a select-a-script response and can't actually help you at all. I kept reopening the case and it kept being shut down for the same reason: "Seller provided valid shipping information".
This after providing overwhelming evidence that this was a scam with emails from BeachBody and UPS verifying my claims and even after the ShakeologyUSA.com site was shutdown by their host. Truth is, PayPal has no incentive to resolve these issues and they are now equal to Western Union in my eyes. I did some digging and this has been a problem with previous spoofed companies and PayPal never seems to take action to help customers until they get loud enough. I used to think it was safer to use PayPal over other forms of payment because of the fraud protection promises.
Those are lies at worst and misrepresentations at best. Here's what finally worked. 1. Contacted an agent via chat (phone works too) during their business hours.
2. Explain the situation and that the seller has never responded to any emails through their company email or the PayPal email. Explain that the website is shutdown. Explain that the UPS tracking numbers are not authentic and don't originate from a single source.
3. Finally, ask them to request proof of shipping that includes your actual address and the address of the shipping company. This material the scammers can't fake because they need to have an actual UPS account and not steal shipping numbers. In fact, every UPS tracking number includes a unique code that links to the shipper.
USPS does the same thing for business accounts. PayPal could have checked on this, but again, they really don't care. Instead, I've spend 10 weeks educating myself on this *** topic to then be able to tell PayPal how to do their job.
A$$hats! Good luck and never give up!
Same thing. I was charged and product was never delivered.
I hope Paypal will refund my money since they are obviously aware of this problem. Add my name to the list of people scammed by this Seller's name: Chinh Nguyen Seller's email: DelorasTowns644@***.com Beware.
Same thing happened to me. Lost about $91 dollars on a very legit looking ecommerce site.
shakeologyusa.com was very high in the google search results which probably why my guard was down.
It looks like the site has since be suspended (most likely because of these fraudulent charges). Be weary of companies that only take paypal
UPS finally gave me an email indicating that the package was not delivered to my home address and that it was not in my name. This demonstrates that they are using fake UPS numbers.
UPS can't do anything on the PayPal end, but PayPal did reopen my case without me asking, and they are waiting on something from the seller. I don't know what they are requesting from the seller, but I now have the UPS email which I will open a new case with if this re-opened case is denied.
I mean at some point they need to believe the customers...right? Been using PayPal since they opened (they were the only real option for little companies until other players came on the scene) and this has been the single-worst experience with them.
I didn't give up. When my claim was denied, I went back onto PayPal and got to a place where I could "chat" with a representative.
I explained the situation (again), but this time I gave them the link to THIS WEBSITE. I explained that while they accepted a tracking number, it was not a legitimate one. I told them that not only was someone always at my residence to get a package, but I also have cameras, and there was NEVER a delivery. I told them that I was disappointed by the decision to deny my dispute, as I was 110% sure this was a scam.
If there was a doubt, I wouldn't try so hard. I asked the representative if I could be put into contact with a superior in order to make sure this website and the emails/user names we had were put into the right hands at PayPal, so this doesn't happen to other people. I know my bank would have paid for it, but I told PayPal that it's the principle of the matter - my bank shouldn't have to pay for something that is PayPal's responsibility.
I told them that I was frustrated and disappointed with the evidence that I was giving that my claim was denied. :) Ultimately, they reimbursed me.
Same here! I ordered 3 packages of Shakeology so they have $272.97 of my money and I have nothing to show for it!
PayPal denied my claim because the "seller" provided a bogus tracking number and closed the claim with no further ability to dispute!
I will try to dispute with my credit card company but from what I'm reading, cc's can't reverse PayPal charges! I'm so maddddd!
PayPal denied again! The shakeologyusa.com site is now down because BeachBody was successful in their claim against them via the web host (so much stolen content and obviously not authorized to sell their products), but because the seller provided ANOTHER tracking number (must have just found it!) that comes to my city, but shipped on a completely different date from a completely different state, the closed the case as RESOLVED b/c they provided valid shipping information.
One label coming from TX, from IL, one package weight 2.5lbs, the other 6.00lbs (only two bags Shakeology ordered), neither comes to my address or is in my name, thus UPS won't give me the actual recipient or sender information...just that it didn't come to me. Meanwhile, PayPal got the fees from the transaction and has reason to investigate.
PayPal denied again. UPS says the package was delivered but will not give me the delivery address, because it isn't under my name or my address.
I asked for info on the sender and would only give me a partial name of the company, but it was not the shakeologyusa.com website. The rep then told me they couldn't help me. So off to my bank to see if they can do anything. PayPal is pretty *** on this.
They just believe the tracking number, yet we can show the website is a fraud, they are using so many non-commercial PayPal accounts so it doesn't connect to one or they would open a bigger investigation. Out of options with them.
Once my bank resolves (if they can), I'm closing my PayPal account (been a member since 1999 and ran a successful eBay business through them during the early 2000s). ***
I found out the same thing - that the seller provided them with a fake tracking number. (They denied my claim.) I have no idea how they did it.
I contacted PayPal a second time and nicely expressed my frustration. I also provided them with a link to this website.
I was 110% sure this product did NOT come to my house - by UPS or anyone. In the end, they reversed the claim and refunded me the money.
Congrats! My saga continues, but maybe PayPal is starting to believe all of these customers scammed by this site.
It is a pretty complicated scam, they must have the PayPal email change with each order to make sure the complaints don't pile up all on one account. I want to know how they're getting the real UPS numbers and finding them for specific cities on specific dates.
I'm just a fat dude trying to drop some weight, I don't need more time behind my keyboard to resolve this nonsense. :D
Congrats I never got anywhere with Paypal. I did find if you go to UPS you can dispute the tracking number.
When you go to fill out the form for the dispute it shows the shipper and receivers name and phone number but not the address. The receiver was some random person. I looked them up on google and found it was some other address in my town. I told Paypal all of this and still denied.
I have since went to my CC company and they are attempting to cancel the charge.
Would you mind to give a little more detail on how you got Paypal to reverse the charge? I tried several times and got no where.
